Phobophobia - The Ventriloquist Nightmare

What is fear?
That rational or sometimes irrational feeling you get, and you instantly feel the palms of your hand sweating your heart beating faster and your thoughts
racing.
What would you do in a situation where a great danger is upon you would you fight or flight?
Last Tuesday I was invited to the press preview of phobophobia a Halloween event at the London tombs&London bridge experience.
As a massive horror fan I was beyond excited to attend will I finally get scared, im not getting easily scared, so this was a good opportunity to test my limits.

Sometimes I even wish I was in a horror film somewhere in a haunted mansion or in an abandoned circus yup im weird.  Little did I know that I would be experiencing a similar situation and end up screaming like the first chick that always dies first in every horror movie (embarrassed).
So, back to the event, as soon as I got in I was aligned into a group, group 7 to be exact and me and many other press people were anxiously waiting for our turn to enter the show. While waiting I made a new best friend sorry Ana(Faded Spring) you been replaced by Mr Jellybean the cutest little snake, I absolutely loved him, I thought snakes are terrifying and disgusting, but Mr Jellybean proved me wrong. Never judge a snake but it's reputation people.

My turn finally came to enter the gates of hell and face my biggest nightmares.  As soon as I entered I felt that I was in a completely different place a place where you fears can come to life. It was dark eerie and claustrophobic with zombies everywhere to remind you that you can't see them but they can see you. I felt like I was in a horror movie and I was haunted by the crazy cannibal who would make me his next meal.

Overall, it was an amazing experience it scared the life out of me and had me screaming and running like a little girl. It was a multi sensory, absolutely terrifying experience, something I never experienced before.
Definitely something I would recommend to all the thrill seekers.

  3. You are one million times braver than me! I took the kids to the local haunted house amusement for Halloween and screamed the place down! Sounds pretty cool if you like that kind of thing, and how fabulous that it was a little more unnerving than you'd anticipated!
