Summer In London

Summer is finally here.
Everyone's getting excited about their upcoming holidays, festivals little getaways etc. But you stuck in the city and you literally hate life right now, believe me I know the feeling. Or if you coming from a far away land in our lovely city and expecting to enjoy a hot summer in London, well is not gonna happen. But I guarantee you, you will have a kick-ass time, and after few day you will learn to like the rain, and our miserable faces.

London is one of the cities that allows you to do something different everyday, there is always something going on, something new, something you haven't experienced before. There is something everyone.
Here I listed 10 things to do in London this summer:

Udderbelly
The famous cow with her legs up (shame on her) is back y'all. The cow is officially called the udderbelly festival (I call her sassy cow though) and it includes very fab shows such as circus, stand up comedy and music acts etc.

Notting Hill Carnival
If you always wanted to go to the Rio De Janeiro Carnival but never made it there. Well there is always the Notting Hill Carnival. Is not quite as big but hey is the biggest in Europe.
The streets of West London will be having the biggest party in August and it's free. So get a pack of beers and hit the there it's insanely fun.

Beach Please
If you can't go to the beach then you have to bring the beach to you.
Welcome to Landan where everything is possible.
A man made beach was created at the Olympic Park in Stratford. It includes a large padding pool two bars and a funfair. You might need that bikini after all.

Alternative London Walking Tour
This is my fave. The alternative London walking tour, showcase London's creativity such as the incredible street art in East and gives you a bit of history on what happened on that specific area. I think is pretty amazing as personally I would like to know the story behind all these amazing street art I see in London and also what happened on place. The coolest part about is that, you get to pay whatever you want or whatever you can afford.

Go ape
Ever wonder what is like to be Tarzan, well now is your chance to channel your inner Tarzan or monkey at the go ape. Go ape is a forest adventure park. There is a Tarzan swing, tree
crossings, tunnels, bridges and wind-in-your-face zip wire. If you like living on the edge this is your thing.

Open Air Theater
This is another fave. I always wanted to go an open air theater, just like in ancient Greece. The open air theater takes place in Regent's Park.

BST Hyde Park
The British summer time, it's another music festival and it takes place in Hyde Park. It last two weekends from the 1st till the 10th of July. The lineup is always amazing with mainstream artists but also with new talented artists. This year it features: Take that, Olly Mars, Florence&The Machine, Borns, Grace Sewell and many more.

Wireless
Wireless is another totes amazeballs music festival in London.
Last year it took place at Finsbury Park for the first time, I could hear Kanye West rapping from my house (yup I live close to Finsbury Park) seriously how cool is that?!
This year Wireless is back with a kick ass line up including great artist such as Calvin Harris, The 1975,Big Sean,Jess Glyne, Fergie and many more.  Put on your fave festival outfit, grab a beer and get ready to party.

Watch A Film On The Rooftop.
Here in Uk we love rooftops for some reason. You will see many events happening in rooftops, is just so British if you can say that.
Therefore watching a film on a rooftop under the stars with your friends or significant other is just bliss. This could be the ultimate first date how romantic is?!

Explore
London is such a fascinating city, and you may or may not know but it doesn't get dark until 10pm . You can get up late get your besties grab your favorite frappucino and hit the city. Walk from Soho to London Eye nope is not that far. Or have lunch somewhere you never had before. Try new things, London is full of new things. Enjoy the street performances, go to the zoo. Even if it suddenly starts raining then dance in the rain and laugh about it. Create lifelong memories along the way. Don't forget to live a little bit on the edge it keeps you young and thirsty for life.

  5. I was in London one month ago and spring was slightly showing up! I lived London as usual and you finally make me understand what Udderbelly is: I went in the small area facing the circus just for a drink and couldn't understand all those people queuing there. Next time I'll have a look too!
