One of the most exciting things about being a blogger is that we get to go to cool events and meet many people and get introduced to new brands. The latest event was the Blogger fashion week which comes after London Fashion week as a special industry inside.
The event took place in a studio in Hoxton where all the cool kids hang out. The event was split in two parts myself and my blogger bff Ana from Faded Spring decided to go to both, we arrived there around 12ish and stayed until well 9 it was a long but a very productive day.
As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the organizers and the rest of the bloggers, I couldn't help but notice how fashionable everyone was, thank god I didn't wear my converse. I wore a black jumpsuit by Oh My Love,Topshop and paired it with heeled boots and a leather jacket, I was originally going to do an androgynous look but last minute decided to let my hair down. #blfw

Even though the studio was rather small it accommodated so many brands from skincare to hair and nails yup we could get our nails done oh and our hair too. The morning part had more skincare brands and the evening part was more fashion focuses with several catwalks.
The brand representatives were absolutely amazing with so much knowledge on skincare hair and beauty. I never been the kind of girl who uses 10 products a day and 10 a night, the only thing I use is a moisturizer and that if I am not late for work, i know that is pretty bad. Therefore to have experts on skincare to give me advice was beyond helpful and needed. I was being advised on what would suit my skin type as my skin was pretty dehydrated and how to improve it and then I was given samples of their products.
The lovely lady from IOMA used a little tool to see what my skin type is, and what products will be best for me. |
The candles and body lotions by the florist Kenneth Turner allowed us to travel in magical places with their distinctive exotic smell |
What I really love from going to events is networking there is nothing better than meeting people from the same community as you, we are all writers and we are pretty much crave the same thing. Events like that helps meet people who are like-minded.
I cannot wait to try on the products, reviews will be coming soon.
Brands:
ELECTRICAL TOOLS,AMIE,MONUSKIN,PAUL MITCHELL,ZEO
